Food & Drink

Top Restaurants
  • Frantzén No. 6 on the Top 50 restaurants list. Some dishes are prepared in front of you & their wine pairings are premium. Frantzén’s food is a tribrid of Nordic, Asian and international cusines—using both classic and modern techniques.
  • Adam/Albin Gastronomic dinner experience. Nordic cuisine using outstanding produce and a focus on sustainability.
  • Grastrologik A sleek modern restaurant. Inventive tasting menu made with carefully sourced seasonal produce, which makes dinner different and special.
Top Bars
  • Tjoget One of my favourite bars, ever. Pronounced 'sho - get' (approximately). The place is divided into sections with a wine bar, beer hall and cocktail & dining room. The drinks are first-class and the food is incredible (Mediterranean-inspired). Ambience is industrial-style and very tastefully done. I cannot wait to go back
  • Bar Called Gemma Walked in. Our names were written on the bar in permanent marker. Instantly liked this place. The bar was rowdy and busy, but tasteful and personal. The drinks were complex and amazing.
  • Lucy's Flower Shop These guys know cocktails. They have an extensive menu and can make pretty much anything. The ambience is very refined and polished. Really enjoyed.

Activities & Attractions

  • Skansen Open Air Museum Ferry to Skansen, the world's oldest open-air museum. Festive occasions are celebrated throughout the year including concerts in the summer and Christmas markets in winter. Enjoyable to walk around year-round.
  • Hellasgården’s lakeside sauna A sauna and recreation area inside Nacka nature reserve. Don't forget to take a dip in the (icy) lake!
  • Underground/Metro Art Tour Stockholm’s metro network is often dubbed the world’s longest art gallery. Most stations have interesting art displays. The blue line has the most daring/experimental designs, including Kungsträdgården, which feels like a post-apocalyptic archaeological discovery.
Other Attractions
  • Sites • Gamla Stan (old town), SoFo district (Stockholm’s Brooklyn-inspired area), Nytorget square and views over Södermalm
  • Parks • Tantolunden’s hillside & garden, Norr Mälarstrand (trail with views of the Old Town)
